Comments: Written for 5_povs. Once again, the title sucks. XD And the characterization is probably awful too, but you wanna know the awesome thing? That's barely a problem, because the characters are two of the least-appearing characters in the manga! =DD I'm actually pretty happy about that. When I picked up Ishihime (and Sakura/Shaoran) at 5_povs, I vowed to myself that I wouldn't do the conventional POVs (for Ishime, that'd be like Ichigo, Tatsuki, etc.). Kagine-sensei and Ochi-sensei are hardly conventional POVs. xD So even if they're OOC, I'm happy.

Almost completely unedited. Lots of awkward sentences, bad repetition of words, and other crappy stuff. The only actually good part of this fic is the concepts -- I have some amusing ideas, but I don't think I executed them very well. I also don't care. At almost seven full pages, this fic is DONE. I can die happy now.

And....I went a little crazy with it. XDD;; Just a tad bit longer than it really should have been. The others I'll compile into one post because they're not that long (At least, the other one I have written wasn't that long, and I don't see any of the others being as long as this either), but this one merited its own post. It's nice to know my IshiHime muse hasn't died. =3

Title: I Don't Want to be the Rain

Comments: I seem to have a thing for writing Ishihime stories in the whee hours of the morning. I also find myself unduly fascinated with Inoue's quote: "What if I were the rain? Would I be able to connect with someone's heart like the rain connects the never-intersecting sky and earth?" I keep analyzing it, have attempted to write poetry inspired by it (until I realized that the haiku I was writing wasn't so much an original compostion as a rewriting of the quote in 5-7-5 form) and many other silly things. Like writing the story behind this lj-cut (and this is not the only story idea spawned by that quote). I'm not quite sure how I feel about it yet; definitely needs editing. But all in all, I think I like it.
